Our Visit to the Mayer Museum in San Angelo

We visited the Mayer Museum in San Angelo on a Saturday and were able to see two different exhibits: The Civil War exhibit and the Mexican exhibit. We had gone to the museum for the Civil War exhibit, but we were able to see a few of the Mexican artifacts as well. The museum was easy to find and parking was plentiful. Once inside, we were greeted by helpful staff who were more than happy to answer any questions we had. The museum is divided into different sections and halls, and there are refreshment areas throughout where you can grab a cup of coffee or a snack. As people visiting a museum, we recommend taking a water or snack bottle with you so you can easily stay hydrated throughout your visit.
