Fort Concho Historic Site
Fort Concho, a former United States Army installation, is now a National Historic Landmark District. It is located at 630 S Oakes St, San Angelo, TX 76903. It is a must-see place for visitors to the area. You can tour the buildings and view the artifacts. There is also a visitor center where you can learn about the history of the area.
The site features 23 buildings, including the post headquarters, officers' quarters, barracks, post-hospital, stable, schoolhouse, and museum. The Fort Concho Museum offers free exhibits and a gift shop. There are also living history reenactments throughout the year. A self-guided tour is also available.

In addition to that ghost, other people have reported hearing strange sounds and seeing strange lights. Others have even reported seeing a soldier wandering the neighborhood outside the fort.
